The Bridge Quartet give here, arguably, the finest account of Grieg's G Minor Quartet since the 1937 Budapest version and certainly the most idiomatic of all modern recordings. This is noble playing admirably recorded.
International Record Review, Robert Matthew-Walker
The Bridge Quartet enjoy coaching on amateur chamber music courses and running Master Classes, both in this country and also in Europe.
In recent years they have coached in Cambridge (2007), for Musical Passages, run by Jane Carhart, at the Moulin d'Ande near Rouen, France, in Cortona Tuscany and, last year, at Bel Sito near the hilltop town of Ripatransone in Le Marche region of Italy.
The destinations are always carefully chosen for the surroundings and, of course, ones that justifiably pride themselves on their catering!
